About Yolanda D. Brisco
Yolanda created Purposed Strategy to champion women-owned and women-led organizations. She leads with almost two decades of experience and mastery as an accountant and is a corporate attorney supporting nonprofits and small businesses. From helping sports philanthropists to private foundations, religious organizations, charities to schools; churches to marketing companies, technology firms, and eCommerce boutiques; helping them sift through numbers, ideas, and processes and offering guidance to make sustainable, integral, and profitable moves. Her counsel in financial management; corporate structure, governance, and compliance; and business coaching has helped countless organizations to minimize risk, manage with integrity, succeed, scale, and thrive.

Serves as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Business Law Section and NC Association of Women Attorneys, as well as an Advisory Board Member on the Center for Women in Law's (University of Texas School of Law) Research Study on the Law School Experiences of Women of Color.
An education advocate, co-founder, and board chairwoman of Davis Academy, a nonprofit focused on education, restorative practices, and community schools.
